A physical confrontation between MPs has been reported this Wednesday
noon at the Parliamentary Commission of Security while discussing the
Secret Service Budget behind closd doors.
After harsh debates, the intervention of former National Guard officers was needed to separate the Parliament Members.
Secret Service representatives reported at the Security Commission in the process for increasing security measures. The Head of the Secret Service, Visho Ajazi, sent his vice Ylli Alushi for the reporting.
Alushi is expected to report on the data obtained by the Secret Service and the measures taken for security against terrorism.
PM Edi Rama and the Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, said there is no room for panic and Albania has taken all measures against terrorism.
Four years earlier, President Bujar Nishani gathered the National Council of Security and valued the serious measures taken by the government.
