The Prosecutor General, Adriatik Llalla, spoke this Thursday about the
justice reform and the interruption of the mandate that is foreseen in
its draft.

“The justice reform will be discussed in higher levels”, Llalla has said.

Llall underlined that the war against corruption is a priority of the Prosecution, and said that they have started investigating high-rank officials.

The Prosecutor General gave these declarations from Korca, where he was part of the annual report of Prosecutions of Appeal.

The focus of this analyze was cooperation between institutions, a vital need, according to the Prosecutor General, to succeed with the fight against crime.

“To fight crime it is necessary to cooperate with the other institutions, that’s why we need to find new opportunities for exchanging information between institutions”, Llalla declared.

The Prosecution of Korce and Pogradec has a high number of suspended cases.

For this reason, Llalla appealed Prosecutors to hold periodic analyzes with the other law-enforcing institutions”.
