The Albanian Government has started from Korca the format “Let’s clean
Albania”, an initiative that will introduce what the government has
achieved in these two years and their projects for the future. Deputy
Prime Minister Niko Peleshi said the two-year work of the government was
aiming a new mentality.

“The two year work of the government aimed to build a new mentality. The fight against informality is the way how the government treated informality  in energy, allowed formality in economy, universities, education. We made our choice, the difficult choice of reforms. We are aware that the short-term reforms have their cost. But they are the best investment for the Albania of the next generation”, Peleshi said. He expressed the determination to go to the end of the reform of formalizing the Albanian economy.

The Socialist MP, Taulant Balla, said this positive message should be shared with every citizen of Albania, since “it is very important to save the same level of communication that we have always had”.

“Something that received the attention of everyone was that the government that left had not paid the salaries of police officers, and we had to pay their debts. Only for 2014 we paid 314 of debts inherited by the DP government”, Taulant Balla said.
