The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, declared that
he is against the division of Kosovo, but according to him, a lot of efforts should be made for ensuring that Kosovo will remain part of
Serbia.
While continuing with his frequent interferences in politics, Patriarch Irinej emphasized that any division would mean that Serbia is withdrawing from Kosovo.
He underlined that Northern Kosovo Serbs are fighting for some kind of independence, but this is a small symbolical part of Kosovo.
