The new parliamentary session started this Monday with the voting
session for removing the immunity of the Socialist MP, Armando Prenga,
who was involved in a shooting this Friday in Lac. All MPs voted in
favor, none against or abstained.
Parliament Speaker Meta presented the priorities of the legislature for this session and invited the opposition to cooperate, saying that the EU integration should be our major priority and cooperation should finalize the decriminalization process.
Regarding Prenga’s case, the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, accused PM Rama of putting criminals inside the Parliament.
