Parliament starts new session with justice reform as the key word

18/01/2016 17:40

The day of the new parliamentary session was very brief, but enough to
give the idea that harsh debates between the majority and opposition
will not be missing, especially as regards the justice reform.

The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group Speaker, Edi Paloka, accused the PM of spending millions for making foreign newspapers publish lies, referring to the article of “The Economist” which said that Albania is leading the region with the reforms.

For the opposition, Rama cannot be trusted when he speaks about the justice reform, since he doesn’t want consensus in order to protect criminals and corrupted officials. The only solution that the opposition sees is an interim government and early elections.

The SP Parliamentary Group Speaker published some statistics of the past session in which he said that Sali Berisha has spoken more than PM Edi Rama. He asked the Parliament Speaker to implement the parliamentary regulation.
