“New impulses are always necessary”, declared the chairman of the
Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, while meeting with the
leaders of the left coalition. Meta said he has not received the Supreme
State Audit document, saying he will consult about it after receiving
it.
Referring to the decriminalization process, the SMI leader saw the declaration of the Venice Commission as positive, so that it can continue as quickly as possible. As for the request of the Democratic Party member, Oerd Bylykbashi, Meta said the DP was the one to avoid the Decriminalization Commission.
“We were clarified yesterday with the head of the Democratic Party parliamentary group leader. The DP itself avoided the commission through a direct proposition made in Parliament. It is a welcome idea to give this commission an important role, and Bylylbashi must agree with Balla. I don’t understand why the decriminalization issue is being delayed”, Meta declared.
The Head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruci, valued as positive the fact that the Commission of Venice will answer for the decriminalization law. He added that the majority is in favor of this law.
