On their last day of the official visit to Finland, Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta and Foreign Affairs Commission chairwoman Arta Dade met with Finish Foreign Affairs Commission chairman Matti Vanhanen.
Meta thanked Mr. Vanhanen for the support Finland has given Albania on its EU integration path and stressed the importance of the economic and parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. While Mrs. Dada expressed the will to further intensify cooperation between the two parliamentary commissions especially in the wake of the important global developments related to Europe.
On the other hand, Mr. Vanhanen valued relationship between Albania and Finland and expressed his country will continue to support Albania’s advance on EU integration process. Both parties agreed Parliaments from the two countries should increase contacts and further develop a common agenda on education, technology, tourism and human resources.
