Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta started an official visit in France, where
he me with the President of the French Senate, Gerard Larcher. Meta welcomed
more French investments in Albania’s strategic development areas.
He valued the significant progress of Albania not only as a francophone country, but also as an EU accession member, a country with a special weight in the Balkan region.
He said that France supports the progress reached in the relations between the countries of the region, despite the historic charges. He underlined that France supports the European perspective of the entire region.
Parliament Speaker Meta valued the next conference in Paris of the Berlin Process. He invited Mr.Larcher for an official visit to Albania, which was welcomed with pleasure.
