Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta is attending a work visit in Brussels, accompanied by the Minister of Integration, Klajda Gjosha.
Meta was received at the European Parliament by the vice Chairman of this institution, also Chairman of the group “Friends of Albania”, David Sassoli.
“I express my gratitude to the European Parliament and the Friends of Albania group, for supporting our integration. We welcome the decision of the European Council, and the Parliament of Albania remains focused on fulfilling the recommendations of the progress report. It is important to advance with the European perspective of Balkans”, Meta said.
Sassoli added that Albania has progressed and will receive full support. “Albania is key with the regional stability”, he said.
