The Parliament turned into a room of harsh debates today, after the
majority considered as illegal the appointment of Mrs.Zana Xhuka one
year ago at the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets,
and decided to have the Parliament Members vote once again today for
replacing her.

Again, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was the protagonist of this debate. The government leader, Edi Rama, declared that if justice had worked, his declaration would not come from Parliament anymore, but when being held accountant for what the Democratic Party did with power in the past 8 years.

The Parliament Speaker tried opening the voting several times, saying that he had not agreed with her appointment even when he was part of the Democratic Party.

The Parliament procedure was interrupted several times, while the Democrats asked the interruption of this session at 14:00, when they had announced the marching on the square. After this, the Democratic Party left the room for the protest.

Around 15:00, the Parliament Members of the majority voted the decree of President Bujar Nishani, for the Head of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets. With 77 votes in favor, Mrs.Zana Xhuka was discharged from her duty.
