The opposition is represented in Parliament with five MPs from the Party
of Justice, Integration and Unity, who did not join the Democratic
Party boycott in protest for the 10-days suspension of former Prime
Minister Sali Berisha.

All MPs of this political force spoke in this session to greet the candidate status for Albania, a decision that for the PJIU leader, Shpetim Idrizi, takes another value, that of resolving the Cham issue.

“The closer to Europe, the closer to the democratic freedoms”, Idrizi declared in the week that marks the 70th anniversary of the Greem genocide against the Albanian Chams.

“I want to encourage Mr.Rama, Mr.Meta and Mr.Bushati to understand that we cannot give everything to the Albanian people, but it is our duty to give them dignity. I am sure that this will be a government with dignity”, Idrizi declared.

The leader of the PJIU declared that the Cham Albanians are more interested for resolving this issue with Greece.

“We cannot accept Greece to representative the West and hold our integration keys. Dignity serves more than servility and intimidation”, Idrizi declared.

Idrizi declared that the Greek genocide left 2700 people killed, 3000 died on their way to Albania, and 50,000 were moved from their homes. The issue of their properties has remained unsolved for 70 years.
