The Independent Commission of Qualification has found that the Constitutional Judge, Fatos Lulo, was not suitable for his post. Four months later, the Parliament announced the vacancy.
The Parliament announcement has listed the criteria that an applicant must meet before expressing his interest. The deadline is August 24th.
Judge Fatos Lulo was vetted for the purity of his image, his professional abilities and personal wealth. The latter apparently took him out of the justice system.
The High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets found that Lulo had made a false declaration of assets. It has identified a 100,000 EUR gift from her sister in one case and a 480,000 Canadian dollar loan she has taken to buy a home in Canada.
The HIDAA, however, insists that Lulo has not paid taxes in the past 10 years.
