A few days ago, the Municipality of Tirana declared the four winners of
the competition for decorative sculptures that will be placed in city
squares and parks.
“We looking seriously to create places where citizens can get entertained, make pictures and have something to remember”, said Helidon Haliti, a painter.
The competition was open for anyone, but younger artists had priority. Due to their age, they may be at risk with the public’s opinion, that’s why the project will have an experimental phase and the final verdict will be given by the public.
The four winning sketches will take a final shape on July 15th, when they will be displayed at the University of Arts.
