Paloka: “We cannot dialogue in a parliament with criminals”. Berisha: “Rama, prison or fatality”

The Head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Edi Paloka,
declared from the tent raised in protest in front of the Prime
Minister’s office that the opposition will not withdraw the request for
free and fair elections through a technical government.

Rama wants an Albania under dictatorship. We will stay here until the end, to not allow this. We and the Albanians who want free and honest elections will not withdraw. We are not against dialogue, but time when Rama could sit and offer free and fair elections is past gone. When the Democratic Party offered to dialogue for free and fair elections one year ago, they refused with arrogance, they delayed the commission so that we couldn’t implement some laws that would create trust among citizens, among the opposition and international observers, that the elections would not be stolen”, Paloka said.

The DP leader said that the international partners are right when they say that the dialogue should be held in Parliament, but, according to Paloka, this is not valid for our country.

“Dialogue is held in Parliament in a normal country, but not in Albania, where the Parliament is full of criminals. This is why we are on the parliament of free Albanians”, Paloka said.

The former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, used Paloka’s messages on his own way. He warned Rama that hundreds of thousands of protesters may gather in front of his office. “These are days of a mercy that you don’t deserve. Your end will either be prison, or fatality. There is no other way”, Berisha said.
