The USA support the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue intermediated by the EU.
The 100% tax on Serbian goods, set y the Kosovo government, is considered an impasse for dialogue. Hence, the US representative asks Kosovo to remove it and go back to dialogue.
The Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, insisted that the tax cannot be removed for as long as Serbia doesn’t recognize Kosovo.
Palmer said that Washington fully supports what the European partners are doing in Kosovo for resolving the issue, and that their common purpose is to reach an agreement.
