Behgjet Pacolli, leader of the AKR (New Kosovo Alliance) wrote a letter
to his party members, arguing the decision to interrupt the coalition
with LDK.

“Our country is losing a lot from the political stalemate. The new government should be created without losing anymore time”, he says.

Pacolli explains that the stance of AKR has always been for an all-inclusive government, a proposition that has not been supported, according to him.

He also adds that the Self-Determination Movement and the LDK had their time to reach an agreement, but all the wait went in vain.

Pacolli explains that AKR is not making coalitions with any party, but they are building a governing agreement with the candidate for Prime Minister from the PAN coalition, Ramush Haradinaj, with whom he agreed on a series of reforms which would help the country towards the right track.
