Arber Cekaj, the man who had ordered the banana cargo from Columbia, in which were hidden 613 kg of cocaine, has left Albania three days before the Prosecution and Police seized the drug.

The TIMS system shows that Cekaj has travelled to Germany this Sunday, a country he visited often.

The investigation for the cocaine has been registered on February 27th, on the same day when the container has entered the customs.

After the vehicle stayed inside the customs for 19 days, the driver, Armando Pezaku, and the manager of Arbri Garden, Donaldo Lushaj, have arrived for the Customs procedures.

During this time, the Prosecution and Police leaders have decided to keep the vehicle under observation to see where the cocaine would be sent to.

The vehicle has been followed until it entered the Arbri Garden warehouse in Maminas, and was watched until the banana boxes were unloaded. That’s when the police acted with the arrest.

However, the only ones who were arrested are the people who were unlodaind the cargo.

Arber Cekaj remains on the run, while his company and the transportation one are being investigated.
