While protesters gathered in front of the Parliament’s Office, with sporadic moments of violence, the OSCE issued a declaration condemning the violence.
“Violence is not the answer to Albania’s problems. We condemn the encouragement of violence and appeal for more responsibility. Protesting is a democratic act, but burning tires and using fireworks while trying to break the police lines, for attaching a public institution, are not acts of democracy. We are monitoring the situation with great concern. We congratulate the media outlets for the great service they are doing to democracy by reporting live”, the OSCE declared.
