Orthodox devotees celebrate Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Masses will be held throughout the country, and the main mass in Tirana
will be held at the new cathedral. The blessing for all devotees was
given by bishop Nikolla.

“Although our time is unusually troubled, filled of uncertainties and concerns, we should not allow despair overtake our soil. We must answer to this celebration with belief. Let’s rejoice in the lord, who pressed the power of death and illuminated the people. The resurrection of Christ offers the unfailing love against despair. Let’s rejoice with God. Christ is risen”, declared Bishop Nikolla from the Apolonia bishopric.
