The Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, participated at the activity
of the National Day of Orphans, organized by the National Association of
Orphans in cooperation with Tirana’s schools.
Topalli declared that this is a meeting that changes from all other meetings.
“As many others, I have often visited your houses, not only in Tirana. What has impressed me mostly are the open arms of the children who run to embrace you, with their shining eyes, their sincere love and the need to hold someone”, Topalli declared.
The Parliament Speaker told the children that they are not alone and that the state has the duty to work for them, and because the state does work for them, the civil society does work for them, and that the associations gather funds for not allowing them to lack of anything.
