On the 20th death anniversary of Mother Theresa, Kosovo’s capital,
Prishtina, celebrated the ordination of the “Mother Theresa” Cathedral.
Present in the ceremony was Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci.
“Our popular tradition has never divided churches or mosques. We were together in the foundation, we are together for the ordination of the Mother Theresa cathedral”, Thaci declared.
“This cathedral if the house of God, but also house of the Kosovo citizens. It was built by the hard work of our people, the Albanian diaspora and devotees from around the world. This cathedral is not just a religious temple, but it also tells our story”, he said.
