The Albanian opposition MPs blocked the Parliament podium today and didn’t allow the session to continue, asking the Prime Minister to be removed from the room.
The moment Sali Berisha entered the room, Flamur Noka threw flour against Rama, which also fell on the Foreign Minister Bushati and Speaker Ruci.
Bushati let himself go a bit later and threw water against the opposition, an action for which he has apologized, but added that the Parliament is turning into a shameful scene by the people of Lulzim Basha and Monika Kryemadhi, whose actions, according to Bushati, coincide with the opposition’s stance about the EU accession negotiations.
“The closer the country goes to the EU, the more concrete are the judicial reform and the vetting law, the worse Basha and Kryemadhi behave.
Both Kryemadhi and Berisha reacted for the journalists after the session, blaming Prime Minister Rama for the situation.
