The Democratic Party reacted after the government announced the “1
billion EUR” project, which plans to build public works through private
operators, saying that it is a huge corruption scheme.

“The government will chose their favorite companies and will create a debt which they will transfer to us, as a burden, after a power rotation”, said MP Jorida Tabaku.

Tabaku said the government wants to cover their failures through these concessions and tax policies.

“The government had a very negative balance these four years with public investments. The projects they are promising to should have been built these four years. They used the money for something else”, Tabaku said.

According to her, this is also a very dangerous adventure for the state finances.

“This is a hidden debt that will block further investments for the next 15 years”, Tabaku said.

The government has announced to contract 1 billion EUR of investments in the next three years, through which they are planning to build public works through private businesses, who will be paid with installments for 15 years.
