After making appeals to the Minister of Interior to remove the symbolic
bunker that is being built, some of the opposition protesters broke the
fence and entered its construction site.After the appeals made to the Ministry of Defense to remove the tourist
bunker, some of the opposition protesters removed the fence and entered
the era of the symbolic bunker.
The protesters threw stones and solid objects against the building of
the Ministry. They broke the window glasses and lit a fire inside the
museum bunker.
The protesters then appeared with hard tools and started hitting on the bunker, trying to damage it.
The
protesters moved from the Boulevard to the Prime Minister’s Office and
then in front of the Interior Ministry. The protesters met no resistance
besides the construction site fence.
A small group of police
withdrew to not make the situation worse. The opposition leaders, Lulzim
Basha and Sali Berisha, joined the protesters.
