The DP opposition today continued the movement of protests, this time in front of the Parliament of Albania, as a tense debate session is taking place inside, during which the MPs blocked the podium with accusations of violations.
In the last stages of the debate the speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, requested the suspension of the gathering due to what she called insults and intimidation by the opposition MPs
“Shame on you for your words, you have no right to insult the honorable ladies of this Assembly.
I will remove the right to speak. You can’t intimidate or frighten anyone”, said Nikolla to MP Bylykbashi before the session was suspended.
Bylykbashi among other things replied: You will be remembered as the leader of the Assembly who violated the constitution in the most brutal way.
“What is shameful is that women are being used as pawns to kill constitutional rights.”
