The Albanian opposition said that the confirmation of the Macedonian PM about the existence of a project for dividing the territory of Northern Kosovo is shocking news, and they accused PM Rama of having supported a scenario that goes against the nation’s interest.
“This is a betrayal of our national interests. Rama’s failure to distance himself from this project shows that he and his collaborators are insisting in this direction. This is a sad news which shows that the fate of our nation is in the hands of irresponsible people, who are ready to undo the historical achievements, which came from sublime sacrifices, just for their own personal power”, said the former Democratic Party MP, Aldo Bumci.
SMI had some questions to address to PM Edi Rama: “Whose interests is the Prime Minister serving with his actions and omissions in such a dangerous projet, with serious consequences to the integrity of Kosovo?”, asked Petrit Vasili, former head of the SMI Parliamentary Group.
The opposition asked the EU and USA to not allow this project which goes against the European interests and endangers the region’s stability.
