Opposition MPs who renounced mandates sue Parliament for salaries

Top Channel has learned that 11 MPs of the opposition have applied at the Institution of Social Insurance to receive their bonus pay, which is half of the net salary they received in Parliament.

The law for the status of MPs provides that this payment is given by the institution of pensions. Among the MPs who filed for this are even PM Sali Berisha and SMI ‘s leader Monika Kryemadhi.

The list goes on with Grida Duma, Andon Frrokaj, Gent Strazimiri, Florjon Mima, Genc Pollo, Dhurata Cupi, Nard Ndoka and Petrit Vasili.

Some of the opposition MPs have even sued the Parliament at the Constitutional Court, demanding their pay for the months they were in boycott.
