Representatives of the opposition paid homage today at the Martyrs’ Cemetery for everyone who gave their lives for Albania’s freedom.
The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, wrote on Facebook that the battle for a democratic Albania is the best way to honour the sacrifices of those who died for freedom.
“I wish a happy Independence Day to all of Albanians. Today we bow with pride and gratitude in front of the heroes of our freedom, more convinced than ever that the battle for a democratic and European Albania is the best way to honour their sacrifices. May God bless Albania”, Basha said.
