The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basham, visited the flooded area in
Lac where DP says residents complain of being unable to cover the
damage.
Basha appealed the government to stop propaganda and luxury investments that fill their own pockets, but help citizens who he says were abandoned.
“Nothing functions because their mind is to their pockets. No investments done so far. They pay building facades with money instead of helping people. This is the third time this year that we face this situation. They have abandoned you and show up only to get your votes. But when you need them, they disappear. This is unacceptable for us. Our priority is protecting people’s lives, verify material damage, bring help for the destruction and hold them responsible for this situation, because they invested in building colors while people are drowning”, Basha said.
