The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that the leaving of
Omnix Albania is bad news for our country, with traffickers, crime and
gangsters being able to stop development in Albania.

Omnix Albania, the company that would have invested 450 million EUR in Lalez, withdrew all investments from Albania after their president was attacked by persons who asked him to leave the country.

“Edi Rama stays silent because he needs a poor and unemployed Albania, so that he can rule it more easily through gangs and traffickers. The leaving of Omnix is another bad news for our country. A bad news for foreign companies that are leaving each year. Crime, traffickers and gangsters were able to stop Albania’s development. A poor Albania and full of drug is the only chance for Edi Rama to stay in power. Edi Rama has proven that he can offer guarantee and security only for the crime and gangs, but not for domestic or foreign investors”, Basha declared.

“Albania should not be hostage of Edi Rama and of his criminal cartel”, Basha concluded.
