Opposition leader meets Austrian Foreign Minister

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, met yesterday with the
Foreign Minister of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, focusing on the justice
reform, decriminalization and free and honest elections.
Basha reconfirmed the opposition’s will to work with consensus for a justice reform that fights corruption but without leaving possibilities for political control.
“We haven’t seen this will from the majority so far”, Basha underlined, bringing to attention to the approval of an unilateral draft for the second time, which falls against independent justice.
The opposition leader underlined that the political will is very important to divide politics from crime, a will that according to him Prime Minister Rama has not been showing.
Basha mentioned the elections of 2015 and said that they failed because of criminalization and other problems, such as vote purchase, intimidation of voters, usage of the public administration, etc.
