Opposition leader: “Growing unemployment leaves no room for government’s black humor”

On the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Union of Albanian
Independent Syndicates, the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, accused PM
Rama of being the man who hates everything that is free, even
independent syndicates. Basha says the reason he hates them is because
he cannot control them.

“Rama’s ‘humorous’ bit in front of the Italian businessmen is that Albania is more attractive because there are no syndicates. How can a left government make jokes about this and hopes that the country has no syndicates. His oligarchy has nothing to do with right or left principles, but only with their close interests. They hate the opposition, the free press, the independent organizations, the independent institutions, independent syndicates and everything else they cannot control”, Basha said.

Basha kept criticizing the government by saying that even the Institution of Statistics, which he says is under government control, showed  that the unemployment is higher, at 17.7%, but we all know it is even higher. The government operations against informality were for protecting their own clients. As result, they have fired 75.000 employees only in two months”, Basha said.
