According to the Democratic Party, the terror of taxes to businesses,
higher fines, removed economic assistance for families in need and for
the disabled, were some of the concerns brought to him by the residents
of Kamza, Bathore and Paskuqan.
“They steal customs taxes and compensate the gap by cutting economic assistance, investments, by not raising salaries, pensions and by increasing the energy price. The entire corruption burden drops on the shoulders of the Albanian citizen and mostly on those who have lower income”, Basha underlined.
The DP leader added that the oligarchy has taken the money of the people. He visited a manufacturing business, and asked businessmen to raise salaries: “We will bring the flat tax to 9%, and 0 divident. The only request of ours is to transfer this to workers with pay raise”, Basha said.
Basha underlined that investments in infrastructure that create new jobs will be a priority of the government led by him. He said that the current government discriminates the municipalities won by the Democratic Party, and the consequences fall on citizens. He promised that this anti-democratic practice will end with their government, channeling money wherever citizens need them.
