The Socialist Party continued the electoral campaign in Rreshen, supporting the candidate Ndue Kola.

The opposition leader, Edi Rama, appealed Mirdita citizens and all Albanians to refuse the government of Sali Berisha, who, according to him, has turned Albania into his private garden.

“Today is the day to restore the old tradition of Mirdita citizens, the tradition of respecting everyone and stopping all of them who turn the state into a burden for the citizen, which is an indicates that they are about to lose”, Rama declared.

Emphasizing the “Pact with the Citizens”, Rama said that its focus will be on the common families, forgotten by the current government.

“We will reduce VAT for basic food, for bread, milk and eggs. We will reduce the cost of basic food and will not allow this country to have people that cannot drink a glass of milk. We will take care, will support and protect every common family. The families in need will not pay a single tax”, Rama emphasized.

Rama appealed Albanians to take under their protection the teachers of their children, who, according to him, are being threatened each day by the current government.
