Opposition leader congratulates Kosovo for Independence

“On the ninth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, the second most important day of our national history, I want to congratulate the brothers and sisters of Kosovo. The nine years of independence have not been easy. Difficulties have challenged its state-forming path, but maturity, patience, strength, wisdom, constant trust on freedom and on the most precious national features, made our brothers and sisters face these challenges and write a proud page of our national history”, Basha wrote.

“Dear brothers and sisters of Kosovo, every success of yours is also our success. Every step you take makes us better too, and every pain hurts us the same. The path laying in front of us is full of challenges. The realization of our aspiration requires even more challenges which will show that we are on the right path of history. I promise you that in every minute and every day of my work, as opposition or as ruling government, Kosovo and our common aspiration for integration will be our big mission”, Basha wrote.
