Opposition leader appeals for civil disobedience

Basha chose Kukes to give this message, the only district where his coalition resulted as winner.

“Can you afford waiting for another year and a half? If not, I appeal you to start the popular spirit of change form Kukes. You will be supported by people from Dibra, Korca, Vlroa and Shkoder. The citizens have the right to command their own fate.n Let us inspire people around the country with civil disobedience, so that a new path can start for Albania”, Basha declared.

The Democratic Party did not specify any agenda for protests, but what the DP leader is proposing, is similar with the “peaceful democratic revolution” that is proposing the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha.

“The government that is built for government leaders deserves to be overthrown with any method, with any democratic popular instrument, starting with the economy which is in its worst days because of the people, not because of God. Because of this Prime Minister who has imposed the highest taxes in Balkan, the man who is taking the highest fuel tax from people. The man who has made the highest energy price. The man who wants citizens to pay their last coins in their pockets, and then buys luxury with that money”, the DP leader declared.

When speaking with the Kukes citizens, Lulzim Basha was careful to make the difference between Rama and himself.

“When you will rise, you must know that we all know what brings the path of the people that rises. It is the end of any autocratic, arrogant and unjust government. You must know that the government for which you are rising, will answer in front of you from the very first moment. I give you my word of honor that the first thing I will do will be to reduce taxes. Kuksi people and all Albanians will pay the lowest taxes in Balkan, the delayed penalties for unpaid energy bills to the gang of Energy Distribution Operator will be pardoned without conditions”, Basha promised.
