Opposition PD sympathizer, Elsa Bita was beaten today in Divjaka in the southwestern coast of Albania after filming a local meeting of officials with other people, which according to her was an electoral meeting, on the day of electoral silence.
Top Channel has provided footage of the woman being chased by a person whom Bita claims is the head of the Divjaka police, Altin Shehu.
In the recording is heard: “Drop the phone here. Come here, give it here, disappear now, goaway. Do you know who you are talking to or not?”
The developments started when Bita was in a live video on Facebook, showing the cars parked in front of the bar, saying that they are public administration vehicles.
“I do not know whether the police will come or not, to disrupt the meeting because it is outside the allowed norms. A electoral meeting is taking place and it is impermissible. As you can see, they are all administration cars and meetings are being held in the bar. There is no place to park. Some are standing outside because it is full inside. They are all from the Socialist Party, they are all here for the rally. They do not allow me to film inside. I will not disappear, no. This is my next denunciation”, says Bita, among other things, before she was attacked.
