After putting his house to fire, David Qosja ran through the corn field,
where the RENEA special forces were able to apprehend him.

Since he had been hiding inside his home and the Police could not see his face, they had to wait some minutes to identify him.

The suspect, visibly in bad mental and physical conditions, had contradicted himself when he was caught by saying: “I don’t know who killed the officer. He didn’t want to kill him”.

When asked why he started shooting with his weapon around, the young man said he had be shot by someone from the mountain.

This answer, according to investigators, has reinforced the idea that the 27-year-old may suffer from some kind of depression, which includes the delusion of being constantly stalked, probably caused by a series of tragedies that have struck his family, such as the death of his brother recently.

One day after the operation, there are signs of fire and bullets at his residence. He shot police officer Kodra from the second floor, right after he answered to a phone call from the neighbors.
