The High Inspectorate for Declaration and Audit of Assets invites 3000 officials who haven’t yet declared their assets to fill the application online, which is also a request of the EU, before the decision for the accession negotiations.
The system will be 100% functional by January 2020, and the declarations will be done in the same way as today. Soreca considered this a very good day for Albania, a country that is taking the fight against corruption very seriously.
As for the political crisis, the EU Ambassador believes there is room for compromise, although the majority and opposition are very polarized right now.
