One day remains before the “Grand Gala” organized by Top Channel and the
Media Foundation “Dritan Hoxha”, which will be held at the Tirana
National Theater of Operate and Ballet. Modern and lyrical singers will
perform Albanian songs that have made our musical history, and also
instrumental parts.
“Beautiful things are eternal. Although we have a small tradition, because 50 years of music is not that much, but we are never without things that have left important prints on their time, which have been preserved and passed to our days. I think that they will be immortal. Some of them are film music, even in this evening that will be held this Wednesday. I have the pleasure to play one of the best works of composer Kujtim Laro, from the movie “Ne Fillim te Veres”. This is only for what I can do. Today is the 60th anniversary of my first public performance with a serious music”, declared Prof.Robert Radoja, piano player and composer.
The only exclusion in this “Gala” with local music is:
“It is always fun to return to Tirana and be part of the events organized by Top Channel. I am very happy that they never forget me, since I left The Voice. But it is my first time in a “Gala” like this, and I have been trusted with a very special role: to dance. I am very thrilled and I feel privileged. My only song will be in English, “Nothing Else Matters” from Tirana, which is dedicated to the founder of Top media, Mr.Dritan Hoxha”, declared Rina Bilurgadu, singer and winner of Voice of Albania.
The “Dritan Hoxha” award will be given during the event to a figure that has shined in all social-cultural areas during 2014. The revenues from the tickets will go for the construction of the Malbardha road, the village where Muslim residents built a church for the Christian residents, a symbol of the religious tolerance which will be the theme of the “Grand Gala”, which will be dedicated to tolerance in general.
