“Omnix” case, Ministry of Justice investigates court verdict

The Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, ordered an investigation for a
Durres Court verdict that ruled in favor of a Durres family for the
property where the tourist resort would be built by Omnix Albania.

The company claims they would have built a giant 450m million EUR tourist complex, and until six months ago, the property was owned by the state.

But on March 25th, Judge Johana Qeleshi ruled that 45 acres were owned by the Secuni family, from Durres.

This has changed everything for the biggest tourist project in Albania, after Omnix declared that they would leave our country.

The Justice Inspection Directory will investigate all legal procedures to see if verdict was based on the law.

Inspectors from the Ministry of Justice will ask official information from the Registrar’s Office.
