Ombudsman: Law for orphans needs improvement

The Ombudsman reacts after the scandal published by Fiks Fare with the Director of the “Orphans in Focus Association”.

“The activity of this Director is shameful and unacceptable. The respective organizations must take all necessary measures”, says the Ombudsman in his declaration.

This reaction underlines that it is not enough isolating individuals with these activities, that’s why the law for orphans needs improvement.

Top Channel’s investigative progra, “Fiks Fare”, showed a video that tells how associations for orphans take funds and act on behalf of orphans, by defrauding and by even requesting sexual favors in exchange of their help.
