The US President, Barack Obama, sent a congratulatory message to his
Albanian homologue, Bamir Topi, felicitating the entire Albanian people
for the Independence Day.
“For November 28th, the Independence Day for your country, I want to express my best wishes for the Albanian people. In this 20th year of the reestablishment of our bilateral diplomatic relations, we celebrate the strong friendship among our countries”, the message says.
Obama underlines in his message that USA continues to strongly support Albania’s efforts for EU membership:
“We look forward for the day when all Western Balkan countries will be integrated in a full, free and peaceful Europe”, Obama says in his message.
