It is now 42 the number of coronavirus infections in our country as there were 4 new cases within the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile austerity measures continue to be implemented by the government to curb the spread of CoVid19 19.
“In the last 24 hours the field work has continued without interruption. 27 suspected citizens and medical personnel were tested. 4 new cases have been confirmed. A total of 532 cases have been tested and only 42 have been positive”, said Deputy Health Minister Mira Rakacolli.
Two of the affected are medical staff at the Shefqet Ndroqi hospital in Tirana. The two ‘Sanatorium’ doctors had contact with one of the infected and subsequently received the CoVid-19 virus.
17 patients are hospitalized in the Tirana Infectious Hospital (from Tirana, Durres, Fier, Lushnja and Rrogozhina). Three of these are in intensive care, respectively a 66-year-old man from Lushnja, a 61-year-old man from Fier and a 50-year-old man from Tirana.
While the rest of the hospitalized are in stable condition for the moment.
