This is the first time that Albania is receiving organized charter flights with tourists from Scandinavian countries.
Charters from Israel are also a novelty, with many tourists visiting Albania for the first time. The number of foreign citizens who have visited Albania during the May-June period through the Mother Theresa airport has increased with 60%, compared to the same period of 2017.
During the last two months only, 73,000 tourists have entered Albania, double the number of last year.
While from the land border, there are 8500 foreign citizens a day who enter our country for tourist reasons. They come mainly from Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland.
