“Nue”: “I have never met Shkelzen Berisha

Nue Kalaj, the man mentioned by law expert Romeo Karaj for receiving 7
million EUR from CEZ and of serving as mediator to the government.
Kalaj said in an interview for “Panorama” that he has had contractual and legal relations with CEZ, has never served as mediator to anyone, and that he had worked to bring CEZ to Albania. For this work, he says, he has been regularly paid by CEZ and has paid full taxes.
Kalaj said that he used the money for other investments and that he has nothing to do with Shkelzen Berisha, son of former PM, Sali Berisha.
Kalaj has been mentioned in a letter made public by the Investigative Commission, in which was also mentioned the former PM, Sali Berisha, and his relatives.
Kalaja says all of his activity is legal, and that he has worked to gather the necessary information that CEZ needed in Albania.
Kalaj said on social media that he would go to the Investigative Commission to testify.
