The National Inspectorate of Territorial Defense demolished today with a controlled explosion a 9-storey residential building in Durrës.
The dramatic scenes of demolition show the collapse of the residential building that caused a giant dust cloud of smoke and debris.
The building was damaged by the earthquake of November 26, 2019 and was declared uninhabitable and dangerous by the authorities.
The engineers say that 1100 furnaces/holes were opened in the body of the building in which a total amount of 40 kg of explosives were placed.
