Arben Noka, the candidate of the left coalition whose mandate was
removed after the Central Election Commission published the final
tabulate for Lezhe, considers this decision illegal, saying that the
four members have been used politically.
“This decision is unjust. We are 740 votes ahead and there is no legal base that uses the electronic system for the final result. We are based on the documents that have been signed from all members of the Zonal Electoral Commission 13”, Noka declared.
The Socialist Party candidate says that the rather than judging what all commissioners have signed unanimously, the Central Election Commission must investigate the violations in Lezhe. For this he adds that he has facts for the manipulation in this district.
“One person has voted 30 times in Kurbin. We have evidence that we will represent at the Electoral College after making the appeal. There is a participatio of 94% in this area, something that has never happened in Albania. But according to the TIMS system, 70% of them have not even been to Albania during that time”, Noka underlined.
Noka added that he expects justice from the Electoral College, so that it can return trust to the Lezhe voters, who for the first time have voted clearly for the Socialist Party.
