No public transport passes/ Tirana, students complain: Our costs have increased

Transport passes for students are not available at kiosks in Tirana and as a result youngsters complain about the lack of public transport bus tickets saying that the cost of their student life has increased, even though universities have been open during the summer to refresh the knowledge gained during online learning.

“Currently there are no student transport passes, we were interested and were told that without starting the academic year they could not bring it to market. Meanwhile, we started school in August. Worrying is that the costs are too high. I have to take two buses to school because my house is in ‘Fresku’ and I study at the Polytechnic University. The cost is very high”, says the interviewee.

“We pay the ticket in money because there is no student subscriptions vailable. In November we were told they would come out when the new academic year starts. The student pass is very important to us as we move with buses. Adding the cost of the mask, it’s a lot of expenses “, adds another student.
